Herb Planter

Herb Planter

Grow anywhere Herb Planter. 4 planting pockets suitable fo 5/7 plants

Planting Instructions
Choose young, healthy plants that are not too big. Plants in 9cm pots are ideal. Use good potting compost or well composted garden waste. Add compost to the planter up to the level of the first planting hole and firm gently so that it does not sink later.

Put a plant into the first planting hole from inside the planter so that the foliage will be above the compost. Taller plants are best planted in the lower holes. Add further compost up to the next planting hole, firming as you fill and repeat the planting process. Continue until all of the holes are filled and add 1 to 3 plants to the top of the planter. Water thoroughly

Growing Hints
Position the planter in good light but out of prolonged fierce sunshine. Keep well watered and for best results, feed occasionally using a balanced general fertiliser. Harvest by pinching off new shoots and leaves as required; this will also keep the plants compact.

Perennial plants can be left in the planter over winter or removed, divided and replanted if very large.
