Buzzline Birdscarer

Buzzline Birdscarer

Buzzline Birdscarer, protects fruit, vegetables, seedlings, buildings and boats. Harmless to birds and other wildlife. Deters seagulls from roosting on boats and buildings.

It is important to set up Buzzline before damage occurs. It should be stretched tautly, care being taken to avoid twisting.

Stakes should be placed in the ground at intervals about 5 yards (5 metres). Buzzline should be tied to the end stake and then wound 2 or 3 times round each successive stake. The line should then be stretched at 2 to 3 feet (.6 to .9 metres) above the crop. Lines should be repeated at intervals of 20 to 40 feet (6 to 12 metres), varying the angles to ensure that lines run across the direction of the wind.

Among tree crops Buzzline may be set up as 'wig-wams' that is run 4 lines downwards from a tall stake down to pegs in the ground
